KINGS JOURNAL OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP,  INNOVATION, AND MANAGEMENT

CALL FOR PAPER (MAIDEN ISSUE)

Kings Journal of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management (KJEIM) is a biannual journal published by the Department of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies at Kings University, Odeomu, Osun State, Nigeria. It provides a worldwide forum for the exploration and dissemination of ideas and experiences related to the development and application of entrepreneurship.

It takes an interdisciplinary approach, drawing on the highest-quality work uniquely centered on four thematic areas: Entrepreneurship, Management, Humanities, and Social sciences.

Interdisciplinary research is encouraged to ensure a comprehensive approach to the topics discussed and to advance both theory and practice.  The journal is published in both electronic and print formats.

The journal is currently inviting submissions for its electronic maiden issue.  Contributions from diverse areas related to entrepreneurship are highly encouraged under the following thematic areas.

A.        The entrepreneurship area of the journal is noted in the disciplines of economics, management, social science, political science, and psychology.  It recognizes the emergence of new business enterprise known as the nano business and covers areas such as:

1.         Venture creation and small business

2.         Impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth including circular economic, local and regional development, entrepreneurial attitudes and activities

3.         Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Innovation for a Circular Future

4.         Nano business inclusion in the circular economy and its impact

5.         Technological innovations driving the nano business models

B.        The management area of the journal covers

1.         Strategic management

2.         Business process management

3.         Operation or production management

4.         Human resource management

5.         Information management and network management

6.         Accounting and corporate finance, Entrepreneurial finance, financial market as a background for SME development

7.         Accounting for Sustainability: Measuring Circular Business Performance

C.        The Humanities area encourages the search for inspiration from various disciplines including natural sciences, the arts, and humanities. It covers areas such as:

1.         Comparative analyses of national and regional policy or sector issues, such as R & D trends, patents, citation.

2.         Development, testing and application of heuristic methods of creative thinking in the context of management and entrepreneurship.

3.         Effective Communication Strategies for Promoting Circular Economy Principles in Entrepreneurship

D.        The Social Science of the journal encourages the search for sustainable development, government policy, circular economics, international impact and etc.  It covers areas such as:

1.         Circular economics and sustainable development

2.         Global Trade and Circular Business Models: Navigating International Relations for Sustainable Innovation

3.         The Role of Government and International Organizations in Promoting Circular Entrepreneurship

4.         Circular Economy and Ethical Entrepreneurship: Combating Fraud, Waste, and Misuse

5.         Criminal Activities in Waste Management and Circular Economy: Legal and Ethical Implication

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Authors

A title page with Information including the name, surname, title, affiliation, e-mail of author(s) should be sent on a separate document together with the manuscript under the title “identity and contact information”

Abstract

Should be between 200 and 250 words, single line spacing, in italics and keywords between 3 to 5 words. It should include introduction statement, methodology, findings and conclusions

Main Manuscript

Not more than 6,000 words.  Each section should be distinct and well labelled.  Each article should include the following titles

*          Abstract

*          Introduction

*          Literature review

*          Methodology/methods

*          Findings

*          Conclusion

Headings:  Main headings should be in bold and capitalized.  Capitalize each word in sub-headings

Formating and Style:  Block paragraphs, 12 times new roman, 1.5 spacing, 1” margin all around, justified and well paginated at the bottom middle. Referencing should be in APA 7 style.

Submission of Manuscripts:  Should be submitted in Microsoft Word only. References, tables and figures if any, should be placed at their relevant section in the body of the work with appropriate legends and captions.

ARTICLE PROCESSING FEE

Authors whose paper(s) are accepted are to pay 25,000.00 (Twenty-five thousand naira) only for publication.  Note also that the accepted plagiarism test is 20%.

All contributors both outside and in Nigeria should contact the editorial team on the e-mail provided for direction on how to make payment for the processing fee.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Submission Deadline:  February 28th, 2025

Acknowledgment of Submission:  24 hours after submission

Notification of Acceptance:  within 4 weeks from the date of submission

Publication Date:  March 30, 2025
